Unique Gems are our girls ages 6 - 12. We provide fun interactive engagements that activate confidence and empower their young voices while providing community connections via community service projects.
Our Unique Girls are our young girls ages 13 - 18. They are exposed to workshops and trainings that inspire self-esteem and ongoing confidence as they matriculate from high school into college. Unique Girls often become candidates in our bienneial debutante program celebrating their accomplishments both in school and within their communities.
Girls On The Move, Inc.'s debutante program was created to improve the self-esteem, self-confidence and social skills of our young ladies by empowering them through spiritual growth, mentorship service through their community, academic preparedness and career development. Once matriculating through the program, we present the young ladies to society through our Pink Diamonds and Purple Pearls Debutante Biennial Ball.
Leadership Academy - provides the girls with
the knowledge they need to counter
stereotypes and obstacles and achieve their
goals. As a community, we are here to
support them through life challenges with the
support and assistance of mentors. Our goals
include seeing girls become more confident,
responsible, and outspoken and cultivating a
supportive environment for young girls.
AAU Basketball - Amateur Athletic
Union program gives the girls opportunities
to gauge how their abilities are progressing
and which competitive level best fits their
abillities. It also keeps them motivated
through tough times. Having fun and
developing a love for the game is the goal.
